  1. 3. Great book. Full of information necessary to the test that isn’t necessarily in the school text book.

  4. Although Barron’s did not receive a good rating on your website, I found that it surpassed the other guides with regard to information about the essay questions. I recently taught a lesson on essay strategies in an AP US History class, and all of the information came from Barron’s. Kaplan and Princeton Review had little usable material for a lesson on writing strategies. I cannot, however, comment on the quality of the practice tests or multiple-choice strategies. My role in the classroom was merely to present a lesson on essay strategies, so this review has a very narrow focus.

  5. This is a good book to have for AP. History. The first one to get is actually AMSCO, the 2nd one is REA, this is the 3rd one. It;s still really good though. The information part is not that much, but there’s practice tests really useful for AP exam prep, not that great for your AP class.
